Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2026
The Indian Army has announced the Agniveer recruitment rally for 2026 under the Agnipath scheme. Young and patriotic candidates who wish to serve the nation can apply for various categories.
Categories
- Agniveer (General Duty) - 10th Pass
- Agniveer (Technical) - 12th Pass with Physics, Chemistry, Maths
- Agniveer (Clerk/Store Keeper Technical) - 12th Pass (60%)
- Agniveer (Tradesman) - 10th Pass / 8th Pass
Physical Standards
Height: Minimum 170 cm (relaxation for specific regions)
Weight: Proportionate to height
Chest: 77 cm (minimum 5 cm expansion)
Service Period
4 years including training period. After completion, 25% of Agniveers will be enrolled in regular cadre based on merit.
